5 reasons to visit the Champs-Élysées Christmas Market in 2026

After ten years away, the Christmas market returns to the Champs-Élysées, in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, from 22 November 2026 to 4 January 2027, at the bottom of the avenue. Here are five good reasons to step into the chalets.

1. The Christmas market returns to the most famous avenue in the world

Run by 2A Organisation and the Comité Champs-Élysées, this market is one of the most anticipated events of the Parisian winter. As soon as night falls, the illuminations sparkle in the trees and on the façades. Young and old stroll under the glowing canopy, eyes raised towards the Arc de Triomphe, to experience the magic of the holidays…

2. Wooden chalets with the Origine France Garantie label

The wooden chalets form a harmonious ensemble that showcases French expertise. Artisans, creators and producers are selected for the quality and origin of their products, their creativity and their aesthetics. It is the ideal place to find local crafts and original gift ideas that tell a story.

3. A gourmet break in the heart of Paris

Between two strolls, make way for gastronomy. A mulled wine in hand, you share a convivial moment with family, friends or colleagues.

4. Lights that make the avenue shine

Every evening, the illuminations dress the trees and façades from Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe. The wooden chalets light up in turn and the walk becomes an open-air show to share with family or friends.

5. A brand-new edition, designed to match the avenue

This Christmas market has been entirely rethought to live up to the image, heritage and international reach of the Champs-Élysées.

It is organised by 2A Organisation, with 25 years of experience, which already runs the Christmas markets of Nantes, Rouen, Toulouse, Boulogne-Billancourt, Angers, Annecy and Paris La Défense. Expertise at the service of the conviviality and magic that define the great Christmas markets.
